Barton Community College will host a blood drive from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Kirkman Practice Gym. Donors will receive a $15 amazon gift card.
The Barton Performing Arts Department will host its annual “Autumn Arts” sneak preview concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Community College is excited to announce its groundbreaking Music Accompaniment Program, which empowers aspiring musicians to enter the workforce in the music industry after only two years of dedicated study, which will be led by world-renowned pianist and Barton Keyboard Instructor Dr. Alejandro Avila.
Barton Community College President Dr. Carl Heilman announced his intent to retire during the College’s Board of Trustees study session Sept. 12. Heilman will retire effective June 30, 2024.
Earlier this month, U.S. Rep. Tracey Mann toured the Ellsworth Correctional Facility (ECF) to learn about Barton Community College’s correctional education programming and visit with students.
Barton's Fine and Performing Arts Departments will present the annual Faculty Recital and Exhibition including music, theatre, dance, and visual art at 5:00 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Shafer Gallery.
